Jesse W. Curtis, P.E. - Founder
Jesse has 15 years of experience, including 8 years in Florida, in the design and inspection of a variety of structural engineering projects. Many of these projects involved forensic investigations and milestone investigations. He authored hundreds of structural forensic engineering/structural damage reports and inspected commercial and residential structures required for Florida Threshold Inspection. He is a member of the American Concrete Institute (ACI) and the American Society of Testing and Materials (ASTM).
Jesse is a graduate of the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. He was a pitcher on the Gator baseball team and was named to the Southeastern Conference All-Academic Team. Two of his three children attend the University of Florida and played football and soccer for the Gators. His passion and talent for forensic engineering emerged in high school when he created a model of the Sunshine Skyway Bridge from popsicle sticks and wrote a paper comparing the ill-fated original bridge to the current design.
